Complaining about Langford is like complaining that Poole or Brazdeikis isn’t here.
What a turd. I’ve never heard a coach talk about outlier performances as much as he does. Take the L, dwarf.
For a guy that’s won 500, 600 games, however many it is, he seems awfully insecure. You lost man, own up to it.
Also, if Teske doesn’t have a decided size advantage let’s stop posting him up. I know he had some success early in the season with it but the last 2 games he must’ve had 10 post ups and scored on 1 tip in from them
Team flashing it’s potential again. Livers makes such a difference. With him and Johns coming into his own this is a dangerous team. Ddj can hoop, hopefully he’s breaking out of his big ten slump. Suddenly we look deep and balanced again.
Does anyone have Teskes stats on passing out of post ups? It seems once he’s decided to score from the post up that’s it, and he forces up some terrible looks. It’s odd cause he’s shown flashes of being a good passer when he’s not posting up, but never seems to do any passing out of them.
Well the last few games he hasn’t really had anyone to pass to cause the other team is totally willing to let him try to score.
Quote from comment section of Detroit News write-up: “Lack of talent really showed up again today. Two best players are on the bench. Hauser and Langford. Guaranteed loss on tues”.
God Izzo is a miserable little troll.
Two best players??!! How about Winston and Tillman? There are always excuses. Frankly, I will take the win and let the Spartans dream up all the excuses they want.
MSU’s resume is pretty shaky honestly. Not “miss the tournament” shaky, but if they don’t start playing better they could be a 6 or 7 seed. Can’t believe the committee had them 16th. Although that was before the game so they’ve surely dropped since them.
I’d really like to see us get to 20 wins including the BTT. Should be doable but by no means a given.
They don’t seem to handle prosperity anymore. 2014, 2016, 2018, every other year they’ve been the trendy pick to win in all and have underperformed. 2020 appears to be following that pattern.
(OTOH they still sneak up when everyone counts them out, like in '15 and '19.)
I mean maybe but that game was played within a window of MSU being up 7-9ish most the game and then they scored a bunch in garbage time.
So your view is we would be undefeated with Livers?!? Ok then.
You must be thinking of a different game. The closest Michigan got it to in the second half was eight (71-63) at the 7:18 mark. From then on it was always a double digit lead.
Clearly not. We would have obviously still lost the games that we lost with him. I’m just saying I don’t think you can point at any conference loss we had without him and say that we definitely still would have lost that game with Livers. He really changes this team.
lol yeah I just looked a the game log oops I totally manufactured that in my head then. But I still think that game plays out a lot differently with Livers. I’m not saying that I think we win but I don’t think it’s a definitive loss.
Heh, no worries.
If he would simply take the 2-3 moves he has in the post. Perhaps just the little jump hook.
And if can’t get to the spot to do so, then kick the ball back out. Instead, he’s been trying shots and angles…well, you’ve been watching, you know.
