Game 23: Michigan State at Michigan Open Thread

I’m thinking not a true dislocation but possible a AC joint separation…he played strong the first half hopefully he can give us some 2nd half mins and that he is ok

Was Livers the one that got pushed in the back before he lost his mind?

Looked like Teske got pushed in the back under the basket

If you’re MSU you have to feel good being down only 6, with Winston having only 4 points

That plus the garbage non-call on Winston (then the pathetic phantom call for him) gave MSU 4 undeserved points

We just got a 0-point, 0-rebound effort from Jon Teske in the first half and we’re up two possessions. Crazy

Love our defense so far. Playing smart and disciplined, and keeping Cassius in check. Keep it up, Blue!

Or he’s not looking forward to playing another half against Eli, He hasn’t been missing open shots we have just been playing really good defense.

May have been better to leave X out there the last few minutes even though he has 2 fouls.

Don’t like the way Winston gets favored on any call or non call.

Yup. We should be up double digits. Sparty will probably win the second half. We just need to keep the margin within 6

Livers and Simpson are our only starters who have scored

Can anyone confirm what the sideline reporter said about Livers’ minutes pregame? I thought I heard a 25 minute restriction? He already has 18 so…

Is Teske not at 100% and I don’t know anything about it.

Teske hasn’t looked right most of 2020

I am encouraged by how we are playing. Good defense, but too many missed shots at the rim (normal, I guess). I remember that we had the lead in each of the games last year too, so I am wary of the 2nd half Spartans. If we play with the same energy in the 2nd half and stay out of foul trouble, I am optimistic for a win.

State made only 7 FGs in the half. Tremendous effort Blue.
