Teskeās regression on defense is just insane from a junior to senior
I feel like the second we get any breathing room at all we have mental lapses on defense that allow them to go on a quick run and erase it.
Totally agree him and X have regressed on D.

Important to point out the downgrades at almost every other spot on the floor around him. Especially in this setting.

Kevin Cross is a 29% three point shooter. So, of course, heās 3/3 tonight against us.

Heās also a freshman who shoots a ton of threes and is shooting something like 40% over the last five games.
How does this affect 1v1 post defense though?
Iād love to see Teske contest three point shots when his man has made a few.
Cross is allowed to drag the pivot in the lane but Michiganā¦
Franz really a horrible defender.
I wonder if weād be better off playing 2 bigs more this half and just trying to mash them on the boards, run more pindowns and use the size to set screens in addition to the Orebs.
I know that Teskeās importance/usage in the offense has affected his defense. Maybe this is related, but Iām sure heās more fatigued now that he is back-to-the-basket wrestling for position so much as opposed to just setting screens and popping or rolling.
