I think our legs aren’t there tonight. I could be wrong but I don’t think this is the actual speed difference between the teams.
Well, the BTT rematch is something to look forward to.
The lack of fight, hussle, and rebounding are killing me right now
Dickinson getting schooled on position under the basket on both ends.
Edit: Lots of film to work with tomorrow.
I was thinking about that today and it might be two early ones on Mike Smith. We don’t seem to play well if he’s not on the court.
So I guess we know what the worst matchup will be for this team in the tournament? A bunch of quick guards and a team that defends and boards well. So basically Baylor/Illinois/Gonzaga lol
Last Saturday?
Ugh. Hopefully someone does the dirty work and takes those teams out
Who on our team would you deem has above average quickness?
The good news in that is we likely wouldn’t have to face any of those teams until the Final Four.
The guards have been tearing us up on offense with the drive and all the Illini are going to the glass. Gotta work on rebound drills moving forward.
Refs just letting Kofi bang right into Hunter, go through his back. Again, same crew as the OSU game…
this is a terrible excuse, illinois has been playing just as many games
Does Gonzaga fit that? I think of Gonzaga as a slightly smaller but maybe more skilled version of us. Baylor might be a problem.
How many assists do we have? It can’t be many. When we have scored it’s taken some huge individual effort.
I’ll spin this as a positive and say we needed a humbling.
(I don’t actually believe that but it makes me feel slightly better)
Zeb Jackson.
Franz. Mike.
The only positive to getting blown out is that the officiating won’t be the reason Michigan loses.
No it’s not. Are you kidding? We had a bizarre break. No activities. We played a bunch of games following the break. Sometimes this is when it catches up to you.
If you can’t see we don’t have our legs, you don’t know what you’re watching. We got through the first games on belief and will. Sometimes, it takes a number of games before you hit a wall.
Is it, though?
