Would have liked to see X on the floor for the final minute of the half. Brooks took an iffy shot with a lot of time left on the clock that allowed an extra Creighton possession that was totally unnecessary

Creighton is killing us with quickness on the offensive boards, can often be more difficult to rebound defensively against quickness as opposed to size

Need to tighten up the defense. Creighton getting too many open shots and they are making them.

i didnt mind the zone change up, helps when your rotation is smaller and also they took a shot contested by two guys with 1 second on shot clock
 i think if it makes the other team think, off flow, it can be effective sprinkled in a couple times a half

Have to admire Creighton’s effort. You would think that with this pace and their attrition they might be the ones threatened with fatigue down the stretch, but I won’t be surprised if they’re running hard throughout.

So much discussion about tempo in the preseason but this game is on pace to be in the mid-60s. More of a typical Michigan pace from recent seasons.

Scores are high because both teams are scoring with ease.

IMO, the actual defense has been okay. Not amazing but pretty good performance against an offense like Creighton. This deficit is all about getting blown out on the boards. We should be winning the rebounding battle. If that was the case, this would be an 8-9 point lead.

Yea that’s the game right there this far imo. Eight second half pts at least. Especially when Michigan was hot early. Could have been a 10-12 lead instead it was six.

If Michigan can find a way to win this game, its going to go a long way come March. When Creighton gets fully healthy, they should put together a nice resume in the Big East.

Overall though even being down there is some encouraging stuff going down. Besides the lack of d rebounds. Lots of good looks, a bunch of shots were right there and rimmed out.

Man Creighton is tough. We played pretty well, especially on O. But we need to tighten up the D and Teske needs to stay down low and stop taking 3’s
