Iām very excited about the defensive intensity that DDJ and Johns Jr are playing with. Their effort has changed the game in my opinion.

Our inability to just grab the ball is maddening. Teske had a wide open offensive rebound that just slipped out of his damn hands

Couple of lucky bounces from the refs, too.
They are getting beat on a lot of hustle plays tonight, but it seems like the ball just isnāt going in their direction. Not from a lack of effort.
At this point rebounding has been the only real problem. Defense this half has been much improved, if we could rebound weād be up 15 or more.

I feel like Creighton is giving Teske the business down low whenever he goes up. A lot of grabbing and undercutting. Still have to tough it out and grab the ball when you get your hands on it.

Only able to turn on the game five minutes ago and already Iāve seen 3-4 uncalled moving screens by Creighton, a junk foul called on Teske, and then a blatant foul committed against Jon not called. Refs are on fire!
I enjoy the effort of all the Wolverines, sans the defense of NuƱez. There are some great positives on display showing that this team is figuring things out.
When DDJ plays with passion, he seems to click. Simpson is now playing more of a downhill style attacking the hoop.
Once guys like Castleton and Johns have breakout games, their confidence will grow as well.
I worry about Teskeās endurance.
Part of me feels that Teske doesnāt know how good he can actually be. There is another gear within him that he can activate.
