Coach Howard was willing to risk a loss to teach a lesson. Agree or disagree, I respect him immensely for it. At the end of the day, it’s Howard who has to face the fans, and the AD, if the losses pile up.
It really really is. I was upset with him for fixing his shoe but punishment was extreme if that’s the reason.
That was really as outrageous of a non-call as I thought it was right? Like he literally pushed our guy out of the way to secure the rebound. Please tell me I’m right
I can’t get over the fact they had a shot to win on that three.
I’m a Bills fan, this would have been the most angry I’ve ever been as a sports fan with two improbable losses on freak stuff down the stretch,
We won. This is the kind of season where you just try to win. We won.
I mean, hopefully, as a high level coach I would have something useful to say in a timeout, but as someone who has coached at a much much lower level I would definitely tell everyone to take 5 seconds to breath, no one speak, ok, we ready? Now let’s get back to it. I don’t buy that timeouts are useless, I want to see that research and dissect it.
Shot 8 for 12 from three and beat Northwestern at home by two points. I need someone smarter than me to tell me how the he!! I should feel about that
I honestly don’t know how you Bills fans are getting through the week. I seem to have one down the street and I want to like send him some baked goods or something.
Truer words never spoken!
Hated the circumstances it happened in but was nice to see us make a come back and hit some big time shots in crunch time
Johns is in chateau bow-wow
Like most Northwestern sporting events, it’s probably best never to think of this game again.
I’m happy and relieved because this was headed the way of the Minnesota game. Alot of unusual guys stepped up. Take the win and grow from it. Season still alive.
I’m not applying for smarter than anything after declaring this team dead, but I think you’ve got to be thrilled with stolen money and impressed that the team somehow - I don’t really know how besides saying Faulds stepped up and again I say Caleb’s 3 was the play of the game - pulled it together.
But hard to feel great about the next game in the single most hostile environment.
HEY! Me too. Huge Bills fan here - my Mom was born in Buffalo. Gut punch loss - devastating. I was relatively young with wide right, but definitely remember the music city miracle.
For sure he came up big. He didn’t hit the FTs but to he honest I wouldn’t have expected Johns to hit them either so. I would have expected Johns to foul down low on the one play Faults forced a miss.
Anyone think this is the end of Johns for a bit? Juwan seems pretty done with him.
Happy for Faulds, but I thought they would put Johns in for free throw shooting.
This was the first “just utterly weird game” that Mich has actually found a way to win… down 7 with 4 and change to play heck of a response! And how about that Faulds pass to Caleb in the corner that was Evan Mobley esque!
I need to watch those last seconds again, there were like 10 plus crazy things that happened on both sides
It’s worth a rewind to see how Jones quick recovery and block attempt blinds the hot shooter and forces an adjustment that saves the game. Jones and Caleb for POG.
