Bad call on Dickinson should have been and one. Then Michigan having Dickinson guarding Liddel been horrible giving up open threes and second chance points. Need to change that in second half or they will lose no way Michigan can shoot 10-13 from three in second half. Michigan needs to be better on Liddel way to many open shots and rebounds Washington just made tough shots not much can do on them. Other than them too and Walker nobody else did anything witch is kinda scary for second half.
Liddell, Washington and Walker have combined for 33/43 points for OSU.
Besides the shooting coming back down to earth while OSU continues to hit shots, my big concern is the reffing. This has all the makings of a game where the refs start calling everything the second half, with most of them going against us since weāre in Columbus.

why are we getting beat on the boards? What does Ohio State have like 8-9 points on offensive rebounds? Just feels like we lose the hustle plays more often than not.

So RE: defensive rebounding. Itās a catch 22 - we went into a zone to keep Hunter on the floor and not matched up against Liddell. The problem is he doesnāt rebound well in space. If we have a weakness itās going to be vs small ball teams.

The zone didnāt help. We better not bring that out in the second half.
I just think thatās a bad reason. Put Hunter on Kyle Young instead of Livers and you donāt need a zone. Then you can rebound as well.

The shot makes that, virtually every Ohio guy has heaved up there over the long stretched out arms of Dickinson, Wagner, etc are falling at an unbelievably high rateā¦it canāt continue right?

Outstanding basketball. And despite our attitude about DJ, we still have a lead! We also know we can play better defense, especially on two point shooting. If we keep playing our game, and donāt get fouled out due to questionable calls, Iām going with the W.

That half reminded me of the crazy first half a couple years ago against the Lonzo Ball UCLA team. It felt like we couldnāt possibly play better and did everything we could to just keep it close as both teams shot the lights out.
UCLA was the more talented team then and ultimately pulled away. I think that can happen this half too
