Game 16: Michigan at Minnesota Open Thread

Something tells me that every open thread is going to devolve into a debate about Brooks. Sighs.

Dagger. Oh, well.

With how well we shot the ball most of the day this would be an inexcusable loss. Coaching staff has a lot to learn I’d say

Turned the ball over twice in crunch time. Can’t do that.

Minnesota putting their head down and initiating contact every single possession… I feel embarrassed for these officials for them mistaking that for ā€œbasketball movesā€

Isaiah Livers please be a go at Iowa.

Seems like it’s a coaching issue more than anything. Not doubling just makes zero sense.

DDJ overhelping there… just like Z a few possessions before. This time we got bit.

While we’re losing and he is completely unproductive? Yea probably

We can also be disappointed with team defense and sub patterns

I follow big ten basketball pretty regularly, and had no clue who Demir was until today. Michigan has made him look like an all American.

Well this is frustrating. Very winnable game and we just fell apart down the stretch.

Whelp, water is finding it’s level with this team…seems every other team’s big has a career day, and with no Livers this offense frankly kind of sucks…and Brooks…not sure what else to say about him

This was a winnable game. So many blown opportunities. Questionable strategies as well. Teske also had a good amount of mental lapses in this one.

Lol. Your takes combined with MattR reflects a less than nuanced understanding of the game. So, I’m going to choose to ignore the ignorance from here moving forward.

Will we win a road game this year? Stay tuned to find out

Started 6/9 from 3 point, 4/18 since.

Hate to say it but this L is on Juwan. Hopefully he’ll have a different plan for Garza next week.

Huh, aside from the drop coverage the general philosophy is the same, simpson just isn’t the same and teske has regressed massively on defense. We didnt double under yaklich either when teske was dominant.
