Had a very bad feeling about this game once the Eli rumor came out but tried to convince myself of the reasons why it would be okay. Bottom line, you can lie to yourself but that won’t change reality.
Franz getting his 3rd foul on the first possession was a killer in that regard, I think. Took all his aggression away. Then Chaundee picking up 2 quick ones to get to 4 and that was it.
This team has depth at the wing. Honestly think um would be better off losing one livers or wagner this year than brooks.

Just in the last 10 minutes the team is “inexcusable” and a “Jv girls team”. Worse at MGoBlog which is a larger swath of fans.
I’ve lived in other big ten towns. Our fans are much more prone to jump on our team and lose our nines than many others.

I think the decisions to go with Zeb and Davis are extremely criticizable. People need to remember saying “Juwan did ____ wrong” is not out of bounds. We can think he’s a good coach and think he did something wrong in a game.

Minnesota deserves to win this game today. However, the return of Big Ten home court officiating has turned an 8-point win into 20+.

How was this game poorly officiated? I’m sure there were bad calls like any other game but did some part of the officiating have a big impact?

I’m not mad. I find it funny actually.
This team is exciting and they are way better than anyone expected. Stock still way up on coach Howard and I will totally admit to being skeptical over this summer.
