Obviously not based on any concrete data, but I watch a ton of college basketball and it’s just the way it seems. And data can’t quantify refs because it’s a play by play thing. A team could have 10 legitimate fouls versus an opponent having 5 questionable fouls and on the stat sheet it looks like the 5 questionable fouls got the better end of the reffing.
Not a huge thing but I’ve just always felt that Beilein gets less respect from refs than coaches like Izzo who intimidate them.
Iggy being embarrassed on D today - at least on that play.
He also got beaten off the dribble by that 6’3" 240 looking number 11 guy 2-3 times.
