Duncan Robinson started his career in Division III?
Next thing, you’ll be telling me that John Beilein was never an assistant coach!

Yes, I do. So does BP3. We know some Simons, too.
I’m still concerned as it’s been underwhelming blow out if that’s possible . I like the chance to get young guys in there and I’d like Juwan to continue different lineup combos here to see if they can find somethings that can work.
Tell him to hit the weight room, Kobe
Okay…who’s bingo card had us playing a lineup with Kobe and Zeb as the guards and Jace at PF with 7 minutes left??
I know we can’t get excited about blowing out this team, but it is better than playing them close…
Kobe has been nearly perfect on offense every time he’s been on the floor this season, no joke. Plays within himself and just looks really polished.
I get that it doesn’t change what happened against Minnesota, but Michigan is executing at a much higher level than it has for most of the season. Doing that, then doing that again is very important.
Not sure we can compare SUU to Minn. that team is old as hell, bigger than this team and have dudes that can get their own…
College basketball is an emotional game. Turning a 30-point halftime lead into a 60-point victory is not the norm.
That defensive effort might win Kobe more minutes
Nice awareness by Kobe there — after knocking the ball out of bounds, he turned to the team to hold up 2 fingers — SUU has two seconds to get the ball past midcourt. (I think the timeout resets that, though).
Great to see Jones have a good game tonight. Didn’t like that careless pass to Eli on the break but otherwise rounding into form. Give him proper spacing and things will be fine. Hence, Kobe. More Kobe. Or Zeb. More Zeb.
To me, they executed even better at Nebraska… Then look what happened. We have seen this team have good games and execute in spots… But this is not a barometer for much of anything moving forward.
(It will surprise nobody to know that Miami’s next game is tomorrow at Detroit).
Kobe and Zeb
As I was saying…
Tho I had had in mind offball role and he’s been on it, but fine. Shoot 3s and make them.
We want Barnes
Gosh, I wish I’d have gone to the game tonight. I could have gotten some GREAT autographs!
It’s not the point disparity that I’m concerned about. Things have still just looked awkward and off to me. Idk. My biggest positive will be jones hitting the open three, that will help a lot.
Still think diabate leading a bench unit is the way to go.
I like our talent , just gotta find the right combos still and clean it up.
So, what, then? With that POV, what are you hoping to find in a game like this? They’re winning by 30 despite having taken their foot off the gas at halftime. And SUU isn’t awful; there’s a reasonable chance this team is, say, a 14-seed come March.
