Game 1: Appalachian State at Michigan Open Thread

Livers dribbling

If it’s not too early to question Juwan’s in-game decisions, why on earth is DDJ in the game right now?

Simpson strip and Livers putback end the 27-3 run by App State. Mountaineers call timeout with 1:30 to play. U-M leads 72-64.

Welp about all of the good feelings from the first half are gone. Z has been rough and Livers can’t dribble still.

He needs a refund from Micah Lancaster

30 point lead eroded to just 6 with our starters in against a sub-par opponent…that’s concerning!

I think we’re going to have issues with the offense at times this year. What do we have in the halfcourt after early action? Just 1 on 1. Granted, I miss the good parts of this game

I guess defense is gonna have to save the day??

No way this leaves us with a good feeling, unfortunately.

Waaaaau to many 1 handed passes

How did the team stop establishing Teske in H2?

So as the game tightened up, no Johns, no Castleton, but yes DDJ?

Shout out to whoever turned this off with 10 minutes to go. At least they’ll sleep well tonight.

Yeah I can’t figure out the DDJ thing right now.

Yeah, as others have said, playing DDJ right now is insane. He’s not providing anything.

Hack a Simpson time.

It could be a long season if they don’t have anybody that can get to rim from the wing position and score. They have looked horrible in second half and that is the worst I have ever seen Simpson play. Livers still don’t have a good handle and is best wing player.
