Selling a call is part of the game and something offensive players do too. Getting into good defensive position and selling a charge a bit doesn’t seem like a bad or dirty play to me.
And FWIW re another reffing conversation, Novak was in better position than Davison was on Poole in at least 4 of those calls, if not all of them.
Novak is coming from help side so hard to compare them. All looked pretty legit to me. Novak was coming in late and if there was a restricted circle he’s have been in it on a couple of them
Was not trying to compare and debate the merits different charge calls. Just agreeing with someone that taking charges used to be a huge part of Michigan’s defensive scheme (and the video is hilarious to me).
