Personally I don’t think we’ve seen his ceiling. I mean he averaged 2.5 points last year so I think he’s got more to show.
He’s a better defender than anyone behind him, and equal offensively, so that puts him in the starting lineup for me.

Liked the play of Brooks tonight. He does make stuff happen when is on the court.

Brooks was aggressive in transition ++
Gotta admit, when I reviewed the game stats mid 2nd half I had visions of a nervous shooter in Brooks at 1/6, then saw 10/10 FT and 10 boards and had to smile. I can live with a guy that plays very good D AND puts opposing players on the bench - especially opposing Freshman phenoms.

Didn’t see the game. Did Bajema look rough out there on the defensive end? Odd him being first off the bench yet getting almost no minutes. I would’ve expected him to split time more equally with Nunez in this one to show what each can do, while Wagner is out.
If you look at just Big Ten stats from last year, Brooks was 9-35 on FG shooting. I don’t think there’s much doubt he can do better.
