I’d love for him to make it, but I can’t realistically see it. He struggled to play at the pace Juwan wanted this year and that will just be exacerbated at the next level. He doesn’t have any elite skill, so he has a tough mountain to climb. Again, hope he can do it. Just don’t see it.
I don’t think it’s something that will happen either. I’m just not going to say it’s impossible. You were replying to someone who said there was a non-zero chance like that take was way off. I don’t think anyone thinks it’s probable, but it’s certainly something that could possibly happen.
I think he’s a decent pick-and-pop shooter and a pretty good shot blocker when he’s not guarding someone one on one in the post, which won’t happen much in the NBA. Obviously he needs to regain his confidence. No team is going to ask him to play big minutes, but it wouldn’t shock me to see him land a roster spot somewhere.
