He looked lost when out playing the 4, but looked okay playing the 5. Its tough learning two positions as a true freshman, and he missed Europe.
He played so few minutes so early in the season it is really hard to judge honestly. Aubrey wasn’t even getting off the bench then and now you see what happens with some experience. He’s obviously green, but the potential is there.
Even if Wilson only plays as well as Doyle did last year, and Doyle plays a bit better than Doyle did last year, that’ll be a significant improvement. And neither of those scenarios is at all unlikely.

For sure. All we really need is for Doyle/Wilson/Donnal to provide a Morgan/Horford/Bielfeldt floor for the front court to be solid enough to contend. Anything extra is gravy IMO.

In theory, yes…but that probably depends on our offense (largely from our guards and wings) being one of the best in the country, as it was in 2013-14. We have the shooters to make that happen, but we’ll be missing Stauskas’ contribution to the floor game. It’ll be interesting to see.
