OKC beat down Memphis so bad their players are already changing professions

you are far more optimistic about Bucks/Pacers than me

It wouldn’t shock me if the Bucks make a series out of it or Indiana wins in 4 or 5. T-Wolves-Lakers have already featured a wire to wire win for each team in 2 games so I think stuff can easily sway game to game

I just think the Bucks are sort of bad? It’s Giannis and what - a 50% Dame? Bobby Portis? Kyle Kuzma? They stink! They can’t defend without Lopez, but can’t score with him. Their 2/3 guys have to be the worst in the playoffs, including like Miami (Kuzma, Prince, Green, Trent)

Troy Weaver and Joe Dumars together in New Orleans.

Amazing how bad some nba franchises are

I think Weaver is fine as a scout/draft. The covid year draft was not good because of lack of scouting and evaluation which is true for other pro sports league draft. As long as Weaver isn’t in charge with trades and signing FAs, meh.

It’ll be interesting to see how Dumars will do the 2nd time around as a GM. I do think he was handcuffed by Karen Davidson towards the end of his tenure and tried to maintain/rebuild on the fly from Going to Work era.

How they’ll handle Zion will be key for NOLA.

Hopefully Pistons can fleece them in some future deals

I would love to see the Pistons get Herb Jones. Just get him back with Vinson and get his 3 pt shooting fixed.

I like Herb. Love Trey Murphy but I can’t see him being available. I want nothing to do with Zion.

I’m not shocked that the franchise that has paid $0.00 in luxury taxes since their inception but has gotten $76 million in revenue share, who shares a training staff with the owner’s NFL team, and until this year an EVP, who just hired a lead decision maker who hasn’t been in a role or one like it for a decade without a single interview just hired, hands down, the worst GM in the past decade of NBA basketball.

It is going to be an unbridled disaster. It’s an unserious franchise that doesn’t care about about winning games, that exists to collect revenue sharing payments hiring literally the worst people available because they don’t have other job offers.

And look, if you gave Charlie Villanueva, Josh Smith, and broke-down Ben Gordon like $40 million of my money in 2014 dollars you bet your a$$ I’d handcuff you.

Herb’s contract is reasonable and Murphy just signed a good sized extension so I think Murphy is off the table.

Herb Jones

for

Two 2nd round picks
Fontecchio’s deal that Troy can waive and stretch

I think that makes sense for both sides.

I would give them Sasser as well :slightly_smiling_face:

Why do you guys want Herb Jones

Seems like a hat on a hat on a hat

Trey Murphy? Sure

They can basically trade him into cap-space next year, and then hope to god Beasley signs the max extension off his bird rights, and you’re cooking with gas

Duren
Thompson
Murphy
Ivey
Cade

Stew, Beasley, Harris, Holland, Sasser, Tech

bang that’s a basketball team

*for Alvarado.

Here’s a good rundown of where the Hawks are. A big mess of an org and stuck in prugatory.

Murphy would be ideal, but Herb is more attainable IMO. We just need someone who can play the 4 for the Pistons and there isn’t much depth after Tobias there.

Ausar will play the 4

solved

their big thing should be to find another high level offensive player
