I’m pretty sure that date had been up at least a couple of weeks. I don’t know how much stock to put in it, though. I think he started walking without a boot on his foot a week or so ago.
I think it was recently this week. It’s pretty notable to have it up.
He’s been on a walking without a boot for a month FWIW.
Was Aaron Wiggins good at Maryland? I remember as an average Big Ten Starter. But he’s a legit rotation player for the best team in the league. And I think he put up 40 a while back.
It would be an intense rivalry game for sure. The Pistons have gotten multiple teams under their skin this season.
Hopefully, the Pistons will be the 4-seed by then.
I am JUST SAYING
The Knicks likely don’t have Brunson for the rest of the regular season
I will say
watching teams go like 7 feet under every screen the Magic run regardless of who is running it as the Magic score 84 points is getting very depressing. That team is like a clone of Michigan hoops right now
Pistons have 17 games remaining, and only one more set of a back-to-back (April 4 & April 5). Of the 17 games remaining, 10 at home and seven on the road. Gotta take care of the Wizards at home tonight and Thursday. OKC comes to town on Saturday night.
funny how the magic have swung back and forth between “clone of michigan (complimentary)” and “clone of michigan (derogatory)” like four times over the past few years
The difference is that the Magic are shooting, they are just the the worst three point shooting team in history
Basically is any of them get the ball outside the arc in a spot up, some defenses (like Houston last night) isn’t even closing them out anymore, they just turn their back to rebound or even run a guy past the shooter to leak out
They need to beat the Wizards because their schedule will get tougher after them, but it’s doable considering they’re a good team which is great to say.
The Podcast That Shall Not Be Named had Pistons stats since 2/1:
Defense: 3rd
eFG% Defense: 2nd
TO%: 3rd
DReb: 5th
Foul Rate: 29th
The eFG% is based on being 2nd in this time in FG% at the rim allowed.
Since 2/1, they’ve played offense in transition the most of any team in the NBA. Surprisingly, Cade has been pushing that number, which is a huge change from years past.
1/4 of Beasley’s three point attempts are in transition
Both Ivey and Thompson statistically push the pace as well
Ausar Thompson is 2nd in Defensive EPM (behind Caruso). Interesting since there’s a lot of data with and without him.
Cade
Ivey
Duren
Ausar
Beasley
They are also the two most fun defenders to watch
The Pistons best the Wiz by 20 in a physical and chippy game. They play again on Thursday.
I’m gonna try to make it out for 313 Day.
