I like Ivey a lot but why does he get more love than Mathurin? Ivey is extremely athletic but Mathurin doesnt lack for athleticism. Both are similar from the outside and FT line. I think this is a great draft and choosing between Chet-Ivey-Sharpe-Griffin-Mathurin isn’t terrible. I like Jabari and Paolo but not more than the 5 I mentioned.

Different archetypes. Ivey creates more of his own shot.

Mathurin doesn’t have much wiggle. Straight line driver. Someone compared him to KCP which seems like a good comp.

Mathurin is a really nice prospect but he’s very athletic in that he’s a top 10 percentile athlete in college. Ivey looks to be an S-tier athlete in the NBA. His ability to actually his use his absurd speed and agility to get to the rack is pretty remarkable, his level of finishing ability at the rim is not something too many players have.

Ivey has ALL the wiggle

KCP is definitely a good comp for Mathurian.

He’s going to get a lot of spacing in the NBA. There wasn’t much at Purdue due to Williams and Edey.

Word is Weaver loved both Jabari Smith Jr. and Jaden Ivey. Both fits the current roster.

I like all 7 of those guys. Plus mathurin. Personally I kinda like this draft, unless you need a pg.

I agree, I think this is a nice draft. It seems like a very high floor draft. Plus Chet.

51 for Saddiq Bey.

More fun than that is that four Michigan players combined to score 54 points in the game!

Franz - 26
Moe - 16
Iggy - 7
Livers - 5

Worst player to ever score 50?

Uh…no? Brandon Jennings scored 50. Vernon Maxwell too.

The interesting part is that Livers is the only player in the above group to be a teammate to Franz, Iggy and Moe.

Saddiq could become a very good player.

Why you gotta be a hater? Lol. You obviously haven’t watched the pistons much this year.

Not being a hater. It’s a great accomplishment.

9th youngest to reach 50, I believe.

Saddiq Bey is just beginning to understand his potential. Needs to become consistent but if he continues to expand his game he will become a problem for teams. He’s athletic, has a strong frame and can shoot. Tighten up his handle and lets see where he goes.
