I like Ivey a lot but why does he get more love than Mathurin? Ivey is extremely athletic but Mathurin doesnt lack for athleticism. Both are similar from the outside and FT line. I think this is a great draft and choosing between Chet-Ivey-Sharpe-Griffin-Mathurin isnā€™t terrible. I like Jabari and Paolo but not more than the 5 I mentioned.

Mathurin doesnā€™t have much wiggle. Straight line driver. Someone compared him to KCP which seems like a good comp.

Mathurin is a really nice prospect but heā€™s very athletic in that heā€™s a top 10 percentile athlete in college. Ivey looks to be an S-tier athlete in the NBA. His ability to actually his use his absurd speed and agility to get to the rack is pretty remarkable, his level of finishing ability at the rim is not something too many players have.

Heā€™s going to get a lot of spacing in the NBA. There wasnā€™t much at Purdue due to Williams and Edey.

Word is Weaver loved both Jabari Smith Jr. and Jaden Ivey. Both fits the current roster.

Saddiq Bey is just beginning to understand his potential. Needs to become consistent but if he continues to expand his game he will become a problem for teams. Heā€™s athletic, has a strong frame and can shoot. Tighten up his handle and lets see where he goes.
