Sounds crazy to say this, but I actually think the kid is underrated as a top 30 player. He has elite ballhandling, change of direction and passing, above average athleticism, and a good jumpshot.
Dylan - obviously you’ve seen DT in person at camp; the knock seems to be his range, but all the film I’ve seen indicates Thornton has good mechanics on his shot - he elevates straight in the air, has good release point, good arch and rotation, and doesn’t have any extra motion - what gives?
