College Basketball Open Discussion

I have watched like 4 ucla games and in every one of the players look just miserable playing for Cronin. It was such an awkward fit from the start.

Seth Towns should be one of the top grad transfers on the market. Sit 0, play 2.

The Ivy League doesn’t allow grad students to play?

That’s correct.

We recruited him under Beilein

FWIW, Michigan 11th in the AP Poll released a few minutes ago. Have already played #1 Gonzaga, #3 Louisville, #6 Oregon, and #25 Iowa.

Going 2-2 against that ain’t half bad! Season has been fun so far.

With the college football playoff I forgot about Kentucky-ville. Mad I missed most of this.

It was a very good game, but it was also a foul-fest with no flow. For a OT game, it wasn’t a ton of fun to watch.

I enjoyed Kentucky vs Louisville. Louisville lost game at foul line. Out scored by 12. 9/20 to 21/25. Maxey is fun to watch.

Random college basketball thought, Khalil Whitney and Johnny junzang are no longer in UKs rotation. Its getting kind of late but I wonder if one or both of them may mid year transfer.

Iowa State just lost a game at home to Florida A&M who is now 2-9 on the season…woof

… the nonconference wins are getting worse and worse besides Gonzaga. Creighton is okay but it was home.

The Cyclones were without Haliburton, but still…

Which is why that Oregon loss stings so much more. There will be few road wins in conference this season so I fear that an 8 seed is more likely than a 3 seed at this point.

Creighton putting a beat down on Marquette tonight. Need that win to hold up and look good. So far they are having a really good year with only losses to Michigan and San Diego State.

Creighton looking like a nice win. Even though Michigan pulled away I left thinking they were very tough and Michigan just came through with a big game. Not surprised their winning a lot.

I remember thinking at the time that Creighton was a tough team to play and likely a tourney team. Glad that is bearing out.

I was looking through some of the top 10 teams’ schedules to date and realized Auburn is 12-0. Then I checked and found out that they haven’t played a ranked team yet. Then I looked at their conference schedule and saw that Kentucky is the only currently ranked team on their schedule for the rest of the season. That’s unbelievable.

The SEC. . . Just wait until Juwan starts rolling out his satellite camps.
