Yeah, it’s UK

So TyTy and Sahvir? They need guards so I’m sure there’s room for both but surprised that Sahvir would be ok with that

I’ve seen some chatter that the loser of the TyTy sweepstakes will get Sahvir

Yeah I’d be shocked if Wheeler ends up going there if TyTy commits there tonight. If he was mad about Beard suggesting he would be a part of his program for 2-3 years, I can’t imagine he’d be happy to go to a place with a five star PG coming in to share minutes with. He is looking to show out so he can leave next year.

Matt Jones of KY Sports Radio is pushing a rumor that Paolo Banchero is sniffing around the G League and Coach K will rage quit like Roy if Banchero defects.

Incredibly funny to watch these guys throw tantrums at the prospect of their jobs becoming even slightly more difficult.

Did Williams throw a tantrum? I thought he just kinda admitted the game was passing him by and he thought someone else could do the job better. I actually thought it was a pretty low key thing. There had been health problems for years too IIRC.

Wouldn’t Nolan Hickman be a much better alternative than Wheeler for the runner-up?

Yes. Nolan Hickman is going to be making $$ in the NBA in the near future. He’s much better than his ranking indicates.

TyTy to Kentucky. Sigh…guess we get to see him up close next year.

So, something that hasn’t been talked about… The first NIL law goes into effect on July 1st, when is this gonna start actually being a thing used by teams and affecting recruiting?

I know this has been stated already, but the amount of transfers this year and high profile ones at that is ridiculous. I was just reading some early season prediction stuff and I was seeing a bunch of names i didn’t even realized transferred let alone had already found new homes.

Crazy…

What was it about the 1990s that made every team want to switch to teal uniforms?

Glad they went back to their traditional look.

This article actually discusses the NBA’s role in the teal revolution. Basically, thank the Charlotte Hornets.

I remember first seeing the Hornets’ uniforms and thinking “Whoa, that’s different.” It was sort of cool at first, but got way out of hand. When you had even established franchises like the Pistons dropping their color scheme to go with teal, it was getting cringy.

The Piston logo would have been decent with just the “Pistons” tailpipe lettering, but they had to also throw in the flaming horse…

That internet chatter aged even worse than I have.
