Georgetown was 9-12 before the Big East Tournament and looks like they’re going to win the whole thing.

Any idea what seed they would be?

Probably 13. Maybe 14

Since Feb 10th, the day after they bottomed out at 5-10 after a blowout home loss to Creighton, the Hoyas are 7-2 and 28th on Torvik. Maybe they’re not this good and likely lose to Nova with Gillespie in the quarters, but if I’m a 4-seed that has to face Georgetown as a 13, I’m thinking, “Sh-t!”

Georgetown is about to steal a bid. Memphis is up 4 with 5 minutes left against Houston in the semifinals which would ensure that conference steals a bid between Memphis/Cincinnati. Then Oregon State has a chance tonight to steal a bid.

Some bubbles could be bursting and maybe a first four appearance for Izzo

So if Cinci beats Memphis tomorrow… is the American gonna get 4 teams? That’d be gross. They play a terrible brand of ball. But Memphis could be in with this win. Wichita is close. Plus Cinci and Houston.

What a horrible call on Memphis

That was so weak, especially for a FIFTH foul.

LOL and then the refs just watch an obvious offensive foul and do nothing.

Congrats to the embattled Patrick Ewing getting a conference title back at Georgetown.

Does the MAC get two bids? Toledo won the regular season and Ohio will win the tourney.

No (with additional characters)
