I know he’s still a teenager, but Cade looks like he’s in his early 30s…
What are even Cade’s weaknesses? Does he have any? Only thing I can think of is that he’s not #1 pick athletic.
There was a thread on Mgoblog, maybe from you or someone with the same thinking.
Thing is, there are a lot of tough matchups in the tournament. Maybe we lose to Illinois and don’t want them, etc. Everyone is terrifying.
But yes, a dominant individual player with a decent team around him is definitely a worry. There’s only so much you can do as a defensive team when there’s an elite player. And Cade is certainly rolling with steam this year. So I would be terrified if we drew their region.
You’re gonna play a great team in the Elite 8. I wouldn’t hate that matchup compared to WVU or Houston
At least we wouldn’t have to see them until the Elite 8 at this point. I’ve been hoping to avoid them in the Sweet 16.
Lol what a crazy dunk to finish this (even if it doesn’t count)
Baylor just doesn’t really do it for me. I probably haven’t watched enough of their games, but I’ve seen a few since they’ve come back from their covid pause and they haven’t been impressive. At least not on the “Gonzaga and Baylor vs. everyone” level. They are a good team, but not special on another level than Michigan, Illinois and some of the other top teams
Baylor has not been the same team since the COVID pause, IMO.
What do you attribute that to? They’ve had more than enough time to get back into their groove so to speak
I don’t watch enough non-Big Ten hoops to know specifically, mostly just going off of the numbers.
Cade is the truth, please come to the Pistons…
Did their schedule take a big leap in difficulty?
The players in this UNC-FSU rock fight are making a travesty of the game. Refs should forfeit immediately
I’m exhausted watching it. It’s 5-4.
Like a game’s worth of Shaqtin the Fool!
Hey, what’s the problem? UNC is scoring almost a point-a-minute. They’re the Fielding Yost of basketball!
Wait, UNC ended up 10-6 in conference? Wow the ACC is awful.
Our old buddy Walker Kessler just ended up on a poster
Now, come on. You don’t get to be the fifth-rated conference in KenPom if you’re awful.
