I’ve watched every KU game this year (moderate fan, live in Lawrence) and in no way would I have ever thought they even had the slightest chance to win this one. Obviously glad they did (mostly for UM) but yeah I didn’t even recognize this Baylor team. Night and day compared to their pre-covid break.
But indianas season was still a resounding success which I think is all he was saying. It’d suck balls to lose in the sweet 16, but the season still a success.
The Pac12 would have a losing record head-to-head against the Mountain West this year, much as they did a couple of years ago vs. the WCC. Mountain West has 4 teams deserving of bids, and the Pac12 has 2 at best. Of course, they’ll get 4 and the MWC will likely get 2.

What annoys me about this is the COVID-lost Tournament means UNC keeps their streak of consecutive made tourneys alive.
Although I’m still more annoyed that they cheated themselves into two national championships and got away with it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Howard texted Isaiah Todd after some of his good G League games. Just seems like someone that genuinely reaches out and keeps in touch with a lot of coaches and players.

So, ChattaM, if you are watching the Villanova/Butler game, how about the tech for a flop against Butler at the7:30ish mark of the second half. I sure didn’t think it was a flop…at all. Neither did Gene Steratore. What say you? I believe the official literally gave Villanova a point they didn’t deserve.

I’ll pretty much guarantee he does. He still regularly talks to kids he recruited but chose to go elsewhere. Todd was the first 5 star to commit to him which at least shows he wanted to come to UM and was willing to go
