I watched that 1993 game huddled around a TV at a concession stand in the Bradley Center during the Paul Kariya lead Maine national title win over Lake State with about 20 other Michigan fans that happened to have Frozen Four tickets and decided they would rather watch the hoops semifinal.
Good times. Apparently missed most of a hell of a hockey game but it was worth it.

Yeah and the hospital is getting a huge fine. A bit less if they find and fire the person(meaning that someone is going to get fired whether or not that’s the person that leaked the info).

Yup, a lot of teams are doing it this year. It’s an attempt to try and reduce travel.
Coach Yak seems to be starting off pretty well at UIC. I know he took in several transfers and they are 2-0 in conference for the first time in over a decade. They are currently 21st in defensive 3ptRate

Has anyone seen anything on the Gonzaga vs. Baylor reschedule date? Hopefully they can fit it in somewhere and if they don’t I would bet Gonzaga can sleepwalk into the tournament undefeated if they get past Virginia.

Just did a cursory search and came up with nothing other than articles discussing the original postponement. It would be a bummer if they weren’t able to find a date that worked for both teams, though with a tough B12 slate I could see Baylor maybe wanting to focus on conference play.
If it isn’t played I definitely see the Zags going undefeated.
KenPom currently pegs their odds at undefeated regular season at 23.9%, undefeated conference play at 34.9%. Virginia obviously their toughest game left, but St. Mary’s, BYU, and San Fran at least have a pulse and they have to play them on the road.
I know the cumulative percentages obviously say they won’t but I haven’t been very impressed with the other upper tier WCC teams thus far (BYU winning at SDSU notwithstanding). I think Gonzaga defies the odds and wins every game before the NCAA Tournament.

Speaking of the MAC I got Buffalo winning it. They weren’t the favorites or even picked in the top 2 or 3 but I follow them pretty close since they’re a semi Local team and they were a very impressive mid major in the three games I saw. I don’t care what their record is and if they have a bad loss (army) .
They were up pretty big on cuse all first half and late into the second and they blew it and loss big in OT. Honestly Buffalo’s d looked pretty suspect but at the same time Cuse was hitting everything all second half into the OT. Honestly I can’t get over just how good Buddy is. He made big jumps his senior year/ last aau season and looked like a good player but the kid has the chance to be a star. He can really get going and just shoot the lights on.
I also know Bowling Green already beat them but if Buffalo can get consistent production from Josh Mballa ( former Texas tech player ) a senior now I think then that offense is good.
My man Jeenathan Williams who I desperately wanted Michigan to recruit and who I ranted about even though he had no real link to Michigan is averaging 20 a game. Balling. Kid looks great.
Then they still got Graves in the backcourt from two years agos tourney run and Segu who looks like he made a big jump.
That’s four real solid offensive weapons.
Calling them as a Cinderella now.

UCF with a 14-4 lead over #6 Houston at the under 12 in first half. UCF’s defense has been very active.
