time to start the discussion on who was the better and more valuable player sarr or brown?
BGSU pulls out a 7 point win at home vs Buffalo to start MAC play. Good win against one of the generally better MAC teams
NC State might get shut down coming out of “Bubbleville”. Wonder if Juwan is working the phone trying to get another high major match up in the coming weeks
To what extent does Michigan control the ref choice? One of yesterday’s officials worked Mohegan Sun – Carstensen, I think? Michigan pulled out of that tournament only to have a guy on its home court who was there the whole time. Can’t be what they’d have wanted in that sense.
I just saw that Gonzaga is going to miss 4 games because of 1 positive player test and 1 staff positive.
If that is how each team will handle a couple positives I don’t see many teams playing more than 20 games.
Gonzaga actually played through positive tests to get to this point.
They had personnel left in Florida that were quarantined and personnel left in Indianapolis that were quarantined. They would have played Baylor is sounds like but local health officials said no.
Zags also aren’t going to miss many notable games and could be back in time for Iowa, so the timing makes sense.
The bigger issue is that every school and conference handles things differently so programs shut down for different reasons.
Big Ten schools don’t have to shut down with a positive because of daily testing, for example, but I believe there’s still a 21-day period of quarantine/testing/not being able to play for any player who tests positive.
Twenty-one days. . . probably wants revisiting at this stage.
It’s not a 21 day quarantine. it has to do with heart testing. I believe after maybe 14 days they can start practicing
DeJulius has 10 assists and 0 turnovers in 2 games. Averaging 32 MPG, 12 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 5APG.
Castleton started all 3 games for Florida, but sixth in scoring.
Bajema averaging 11MPG and hasn’t really contributed on the court. Washington’s PG, UK transfer Quade Green, has 10 assists and 10 turnovers.
Correct. Should have stated that more clearly. They can’t play for 21 days as they undergo testing.
10 assists to 0 turnovers is an impressive number for DDJ and one I didn’t expect, even through two games.
Anyone else really excited for Creighton-Kansas today? Creighton hasn’t been tested yet this year, looking forward to seeing how they handle KU.
So much hoops. Def wish there were some afternoon games so there wasn’t so much overlap
Jalen Wilson looking really good today. 7 pts on 3-4 shooting just 8 minutes in.
He has been really good. Dominated in the Kentucky game.
This game has been super hectic and super sloppy. Just both teams sprinting up and down the court and no ball security
Jalen Wilson…sigh
Tennessee vs Colorado is relegated to SECN+ so SECN can play…Georgia vs Montana. What a decision
Jalen Wilson is so good man. Basically exactly what we all envisioned him as…
Harlond Beverly showing up for Miami. A name I hadn’t thought of in a while.
Yea I tracked Beverly and Miami a lot last year. He never put it all together last season. Haven’t tuned in to them yet but good reminder.
