I choose to interpret that as him hoping to tease out a firmer guarantee of draft position.
Come on, Ed Stefanski – step up already and give the young man a floor here.

Dan Gilbert could do us a solid here.
So could have John F. Beilein, if he lasted longer there. Thanks for nothin’, Johnny B.
It’s an analogy. And the actual facts are left to play out. Though you’ve clearly reached a decision and are conflating issues.
Purdue is planning to do the same thing
Makes sense. Trying not to get people coming back and forth over long distances and potentially spreading it. But it’s not going to work if we have college athletes traveling all around and coming back to campuses after every road game. If alot of schools do this, I would be surprised if we had college sports before winter 2021.
Can read between the lines on this one
Another university planning on ending before Thanksgiving.
very smart IMO. my wife’s company just announced WFH orders will extend until October and then they’ll try to come back. We are in CA. I thought, why not try to sneak in some office time during the summer between waves? Why would you go back just before Wave 2 begins? smh
Well, AJ Walker has a list of four, which includes Texas Tech and the possibility of returning to Air Force. Davide Moretti is also apparently mulling over a professional deal in Italy vs. returning to Lubbock for his senior season.
It’s interesting to me that there’s some anticipation that a second wave will begin as fall starts to get going. I don’t think there’s any guarantee that a ramp-up doesn’t happen before that (and I would anticipate that it would).
I like the addition of projected starting lineups to this thing, though several of their predicted starting fives strike me as unlikely to the point of absurdity. Michigan is listed among a few “next in line”. They’d better be wrong about Tillman.
Blows my mind that people have Iowa projected to be a top 5 team.
I think it’s hard to truly understand how bad Iowa is (and has been for several years) at defense if you don’t watch them multiple times.
How about top 10? I think they will be very good. My mind wouldn’t be blown if they ended up in top 5.
Luka Luka Luka!! And I’m not talking about Doncic
In what way do you think their team will vastly improve from this year? Enough for a jump from fringe top 25 to top 5
Don’t they bring everyone back + Bohannon? I always assume a team that returns it’s entire rotation will improve.
I don’t think I’d have them top 5 but I laughed harder at #7 Wisconsin than I did #5 Iowa
Improve at what though? Their offense is about as good as possible. Is there room for Bohannon to take shots from Garza?
They bring everyone back from a borderline top 25 kenpom team… they do add boba on, but besides that, where do you see them getting better?
