What are the chances Illinois coach goes to Kentucky?

one of the best realistic candidates

Kentucky probably one of four “make them say no” destinations that can actually do it. Start with Oats, Drew, Underwood, McDermott?

Wow Illinois fans would be in shambles. Hope it happens.

Crazy if this happens. Really curious where Kentucky would look. Beard? Can’t imagine Hurley even though their fans think hes attainable…(but i dunno maybe league stability matters)…what is the realistic list for them?

I really think it’s an oats or underwood.

Yeah, that makes sense, they could def get this carousel moving all over again…

I would be very sad if they went after May (he was the top candidate this cycle, after all!) but on the other hand watching Louisville fans go through that would be bitterly funny

See now I’m conflicted… I’m locked in with my dawg Dusty, but like if Calipari is willing to leave Kentucky how did Michigan not get him :skull:

Why would Cal take a pay cut to move to a much worse school in the same conference? He’s giving up that buyout?

Losing money and moving to an in-conference school seems crazy!

I like Dusty but yeah if Cal was moving on then I would’ve at least sent him a “you up?” text.

Seriously, why not just let yourself get fired and then get a similar job the year after, preferably one where you don’t have to play UK multiple times a year.

Juwan would be an excellent choice for Associate HC at Arkansas under Calipari

Probably convinced a Walton to guarantee a certain level of spend to get him to come

Offset language in his contract I guess. So, the long-term security on a new deal with a fresh start might actually be smarter.

If Andy Enfield never left for SMU, none of this would be happening
