Really hope this doesn’t hurt Michigan’s secret strength of schedule
Knowing how the NCAA works, I assumed this kid was about 38 years old and played for them in the early 2000s. What are we doing NCAA?? Seriously??
Schools are blatantly throwing money at players and barely hiding their link to it. Come on…
Pretty blatantly against ncaa regulations
Yet if he were American it would be fine
I don’t think anything here merits punishment, but at the very least it appears they are punishing the wrong entity here, as usual.
Yeah, sure. Then give him 3 games. Half the season given the circumstances seems ridiculous.
Agree…though a small part of me is thinking “FINALLY…some team other than Michigan gets a punishment that exceeds the infraction!”. After the Jamal Crawford and Mitch McGary situations combined with how hard we were punished for the Ed Martin stuff i wondered if anyone would get an excessive ruling. UNC, Louisville, Baylor, Kansas, Memphis…
cheating always pays off in college sports, it always has
That’s a lotta dudes
Pretty impressive to see Castleton on that list of names (regardless of how long the list is). It has been nice to see Castleton do so well. The situations worked out for both parties.
Except for SMU football
And people think nil is going be regulated
Michigan’s NIL will be self-regulated.
Hope is more like it
Nobody needs the season to start more than the Andy Katz Random List Generator. How much time do we think was spent on this? 17 seconds?
LOL. What exactly qualifies one as a rising coach? Scheyer getting the nod due to… checks notes… being Coach K’s replacement?
We need more Andy Katz lists. Top 10 fruits. Top 10 Star Trek episodes. Top 10 ice cream flavors (no sherberts, is a separate list)
Jon Scheyer hasn’t coached a game!
He rose from assistant to head coach tho
If anyone wants to make a top 10 worst Andy Katz top 10 list that would be great content
