Certainly on the margins. If the baseline Big Ten program is around 11.5 million, the difference up or down is going to be swung by the couple million difference in salary.

Xavier, Marquette and Providence outspending us is a bit of an eye-opener, too.

UConn spending a lot of student athletic fee dollars on hoops, absolutely pathetic universities get away with that

What is a typical athletic fee these days? I don’t remember my highly successful D2 alma mater having any back in the mid-aughts.

Plenty would they just refuse to reduce expenses to revenue levels.

Where is the revenue coming from? Buy games? That can only pay for so much, especially at schools without football.
