Full disclosure. I looked for the specific Dickinson thread last night before posting on this thread, but it was buried so deep I couldn’t find it. Sorry for posting in the wrong thread, and thanks to Dylan for moving these posts to their rightful home! Five Thoughts on Hunter Dickinson entering the transfer portal

Since we were discussing Rodman in the other thread, just noticed that Joseph Yesufu transferred to Wazzu. What an odd college career.

Didn’t come off the floor down the stretch for the Drake squad that snuck into the 2021 NCAAT, then went to KU as a somewhat coveted transfer and hardly played (and when he did it was yikes).

Now he’s at Wazzu.

Wow UCSB is rolling right now. They get some big NIL money coming into the basketball program?

I can’t imagine the Big West has many players who can stop one of Traore or Clemence, let alone both.

UCSB has all the ingredients for a sleeping giant. elite school, elite campus, elite location. no football so any and all AD donor dollars will go straight to higgity hoops. there is zero reason they can’t be Gonzaga

Most importantly, a head coach well known for his acquisition ability by any means necessary.

The FBI investigation is what it it is and the wrong people got screwed, but you can’t exactly be surprised when people who were mentioned in those dealings are landing recruits. They know how to get the deal done.

Deals look different now and are not ā€œillegalā€ but they are still deals. Great recruiters are still going to succeed.

his predecessor Bob Williams was a cool breeze California nice guy who ran the program on autopilot and he still retired with 300 wins and double digit banners. put some actual sleaze into that program and it will take off
