College Basketball 2022-23 Discussion

I’ll be frustrated if that’s the basis for his waiver (and it’s granted). His injury was like six months after his transfer from Illinois to LSU. He would have had a better case for a waiver when he entered the portal after Wade was fired, but he decided to come back to LSU and played this past season.

Unless Matt McMahon told him to transfer or ride pine, I don’t see how he has a case.

Quite the fall. I remember really wanting him out of HS.

When you have the chance to play for a .500 Horizon League team, you gotta take it.

Best guard in the portal IMO. Creighton is a perfect fit too.

Ryan who?!

That makes Creighton the Torvik preseason #1 for the time being (Duke was at .9346).

I love that Creighton is going Gonzaga, but in a real league. Hope they can make a run. It’s just weird when ‘Nova is the best Catholic program, although I guess based on the last month, Miami!

Miami is not a Catholic school

Torvik has Trey Alexander as leaving which isn’t expected in Omaha. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Kaluma enter the portal, that has been the smoke around the program for about a year. Also should be adding a backup guard, talk is either Rohde or Sallis.

@colin is not going to be okay with this

Talk on the Reddit thread was that Rohde is going to Virginia

You don’t remember the famous Catholics vs. Catholics football game?!

Would Sallis transfer to a situation where he is the backup? I would be surprised to see that happen.

The Catholics ended up making the “criminals” look like saints.
