Only excuse is maybe you need to get Johns comfortable now cause you’ll need him for at least some stretches in the Tournament and this game really doesn’t matter. But yeah I admit that’s a very generous interpretation of events.

Gutty stretch for the UM bench + Smith there. Game could have easily started to get away but they hung in there

Between Davis and Johns, I feel like the defense spent most of that last possession up in the air — and yet Liddell missed and they didn’t get called for a foul. :man_shrugging:
