Brandon seems like he always leaves you pleading for more. You know it’s there. Tantalizing spurts but inconsistent playing time and seldom a reliable number of back to back good outings.
I think they both have pretty serious shoulder injuries. Davis obviously had surgery in the offseason but Morsell’s has popped out several times this year I believe.
I don’t disagree with this, the problem was just Juwan leaving him in too long. Johns should’ve been in at the 5 as soon as Maryland brought Hamilton in there. Instead it took three straight 3s out of Maryland’s ball screen action for Davis to come out.

Yeah I would agree. I wouldn’t give him playing time in the 2nd half. Johns primarily at the 5 and keep Isaiah in for all 20 mins.
Yeah it’s unfortunate because Juwan isn’t dumb he sees it. But he’s not willing to lay Davis out to dry, particularly since BJJ isn’t fighting hard for those center minutes and would prefer to stick to the perimeter

The weird part to me is the offensive side of Johns at the 5. It seems like Michigan just runs the same offensive sets as they do when Dickinson/Davis are in, which results in a lot of Johns post ups. You’d think when he’s in at the 5 they’d want to space things out, run ball screens, and start possessions with Johns more on the perimeter.

I think this game will be a race to see who gets their 3rd foul first whether it’s Dickinson or Morsell. If Dickinson gets in trouble then it has to be Johns and more of Chaundee as well Livers hasn’t looked good for the past week or two.
The only thing surprising about that tweet is that he said publicly that “Beilein has forgotten more about basketball than I’ll ever know”
