BTN All-Decade Team

I’d set the over under at 5 or 6. I think if he wins a national title then he’d do one more year and retire.

Worse than 1 in 5.

Coach k is 73. Odds izzo isn’t coaching at MSU at the same age seem low to me.

I’m picturing a 92 year old Tom Izzo, still head coach at MSU, vehemently berating the NCAA’s new Unlimited Endless Eligibility rules (the NCAA needed them to keep the sport alive after the G League’s popularity grew) after his “best player”, 26th-year senior Josh Langford, grad transfers in-conference to Northwestern (who is now a national powerhouse)

Is BTN awarding a 6th man of the decade as well? Because Izzo would probably win that too.

The media seems to have forgotten the existence of Nik Stauskas. He made Duncan look like Gavin Groninger from 3 if you compare their college careers.

Was just tweeting the same thing …

Some serious NBA revisionism in that ranking for sure. Similar thing for Davonte Graham who shot lights out this year in the NBA and probably got himself on this list

Also… Buddy Hield isn’t on the list which is odd.

Or Jon Diebler. He split the decade but he shot over 50% from 3 his senior year. As far as C&S guys go that was probably the best season

I totally forgot about Diebler and he definitely belongs on this list. He was lights out.

I think he’s probably a timing issue (same with Jimmer)

If you get a chance, check out Dylan discussing these issues on Inside the Hall’s Podcast. Very listenable/enjoyable discussion

It’s asinine for Aaron Craft to be on that team and not Nik Stauskas.

So I’m going to say this and duck out of the room quickly… I really liked luscious and kinda like some of those state teams in that era. I rode them with success in a few brackets. It was odd how he flamed out a bit.
