I’m of the opinion that these early season games don’t mean much when it comes to advising your ncaa bracket selections. I don’t think MSU has the difference makers to project them beyond the first weekend. Foster Loyer isn’t walking through that door.

I’d say it’s because Kentucky is only shooting 40% from the field, but so is MSU

This UK team is a much worse matchup for us than State.

That’s a matchup where you might want Hunter shooting some threes and pulling him away from the hoop. Oscar is fantastic at what he does…but doesn’t really create any shots for himself.

We’re really bad at rebounding and Hunter in particular has a tough time going and getting boards. It’s a rough matchup.
Oscar cannot pick up his fifth foul in OT. Kentucky just hasn’t done anything offensively otherwise
