Illinois currently down 9-5 to 0-2 UMKC 7 minutes in. They’re 1-16 from the field and 0-10 from 3. Coleman Hawkins is 0-3 from 3 after going 5-8 the first game. RJ Melendez is 0-4 and 0-2 from 3, he’s 0-7 from 3 on the year after missing 6 3’s all last year.

I would throw this gametape away bc it’s outdoor and impossible to evaluate what a team can do because it’s hard to shoot accurately long range. Zags has bunch of good shooters not making shots they normally make
21 points and 14 rebounds in 28 minutes per game for Zach Edey to start this year.

The level of elite college Big Man talent the conference has pumped over the years is truly impressive. Not necessarily NBA bigs but I can’t imagine many conference position groups have more all Americans in the past 10 or so years than Big Ten PF/C.

Iowa at SHU is the one I’m most looking forward to. Both teams are lopsided in different directions. Iowa can score but not defend. SHU defends like crazy but turned it over 20 times and scored 1.05 ppp against Monmouth (Virginia scored 1.44 against them). Neither has played a top-200 opponent in their first two games.
I’ve got the Big Ten winning the series 5-3.

according to TTQ the best game of tonight is DePaul @ Minnesota, yuck

Depaul’s quickness and aggression is overwhelming Minnesota in this first half.

Cooper is a pretty big downgrade from Willis. Not even a really good passer despite throwing assists to Broome the last few years.

I don’t know for sure, but it seems like many of the pbp and analyst talents have non-exclusive contracts. Raftery, for example seems to work for both CBS and Fox.
