No PG. From Big Ten country. Grew up in Iowa, played HS in Indiana. Originally committed to DePaul.
I donāt know what kind of NIL dollars Illinois is throwing out though. Obviously the only reason you leave UCLA is for a major pay increase.

Yeah, I get the geography but I just think the idea of fitting in Illinois is funny at this point because this is going to likely be the 2nd year of a clean reboot.
Theyāve literally changed their base offense midseason multiple times in the last few years.
If Illinois gets Tyger Iām done with CBB. weāre playing different games if they can reload like that every year and weāre stuck with a gaggle of useless players. or juwan is simply the worst college GM ever cause heās too nice and always gets second in recruitments

I think thereās at least a decent chance heās chasing kids that if he were more plugged in he would know he shouldnāt bother. Or heck, doubt heās not a confident guy. Maybe Saddi and Phil are in his ear and he doesnāt listen anyway.
Itās an adjustment period going from the NBA to this, so thatās to be expected. Doubly hard to do it when NlL, the portal and Covid years have rewired the whole thing. Triply so doing it at Michigan and adjusting to the schoolās uncommon approach to two of three of these changes.

For sure. Thatās kind of what I was trying to say in the reference to always finishing second. He gets us in recruitments but just doesnāt have the plugs to get all the way/realize who is plugged where.
