DK is an odd duck. Dude acts like a reasonable state fan, but his true colors come out when the opportunity presents itself. Same goes with Spiro or really any âmedia memberâ with Spartan ties. Objectivity does not exist with them and that chip⢠will never go away.

Super easy to pull receipts on anyone and make them look dumb, especially when you prognosticate as much as he does online. So nothing against him, Iâm sure heâs a great guy, just thought itâd be fun cause somehow I knew searching Bufkin on his TL would produce some goodies. The change in tenor of his tweets about Bufkin pre and post commitment to Michigan is pretty funny

Haha oh no 100% fair game. He puts his takes out there for the world to see. He is definitely reasonable with his UM/MSU talk off the record to me, but sometimes he canât help himself and occasionally becomes a major MSU homer pandering to his followers
This is one take that has zero chance at redemption. I wouldnât be surprised if Pierre transfers after this season while Kobe becomes an NBA draft pick

Especially when their evaluation of recruits is primarily saying how great the recruits that go to their school are.
Not even really a recruiting thing, just a thing that happens on social media at this point.
The fan-sphere of twitter and social media content is definitely a new niche that I donât completely understand

Honestly, saying Akins/Brooks/Christie were better than Bufkin/Collins/Houstan doesnât strike me as nuts at the time. Akins/Christie may have been better than Collins/Houstan!
I mean, Bufkin was always a better prospect than Brooks. In high school, I was probably a bit higher on Akins than Bufkin. Thatâs all I was getting at. You also just lose credibility if you always say whatever party you are related to is better than others.
But really had no interest in digging that debate up. Just find the sort of hysterical yelling about this between UMISGREAT321 and SPARTANSABC that goes back and forth online a fascinating subplot of the internet.

With Wisconsin playing on Weakling Wednesday, I wanted to see if there has ever been a team playing on Wednesday that actually made the tourney. It looks like the answer is no, but in 2020 Indiana played (and won) on Wednesday and was a projected 10 seed on Bracket Matrix, appearing in 95 of 97 brackets.
Crazy to finish in the bottom 4 of the Big Ten and make the tournament (if Wisconsin pulls it off)
