Big Ten Basketball 2022-23 Discussion

Yeah we’re gonna need to win today. What a collapse by Maryland

Kevin Willard never disappoints. :grimacing:

Ignoring the affect on Michigans chances, Penn State has to play the most entertaining games in the conference. The last 3 games have been nuts

Crazy watching Big Ten teams rise and fall. Maryland, Rutgers, Northwestern, Illinois and Indiana have all had moments where they appeared to be in the tier behind Purdue and all of them besides Indiana have fallen back to the pack.

Committee should recognize everyone is on a similar level and put every bubble team in the tourney lol

If your Maryland, don’t you have to try to go 2 for 1 there? Don’t think its ideal to burn half the shot clock then use your TO

Nice play and bucket

Okay, I sit corrected. That was a well designed play

And penn state wins at the buzzer. Maryland can’t get the offensive rebound. Unreal

Michigan absolutely needs to win today

Ridiculous

I told myself I wasn’t going to watch any bubble stuff this weekend and I did and now I’m upset lol

Maryland’s road record is just so utterly insanely poor. Shocking stuff.

Please never change, Road-Maryland

Maryland’s a good pick to flame out in the first weekend.

In some ways not at all a surprise. Road Maryland vs. Home Penn St but the way it went down is pretty shocking.

Yes in the NCAA and I can’t think of a matchup I would even pick them to win in the BTT either.

I like this scenario. It involves Michigan beating IU, Wisconsin beating Minnesota, Rutgers beating Northwestern, Iowa beating Nebraska, and Purdue beating Illinois.

Maryland finished 10-0 at home and 1-9 on the road (with the one win against Minnesota). That is just mind-blowing.

Going into today I was thinking one way or another two road teams would get a win.

Wisconsin the obvious first choice.

Never really considered Maryland because lol.

Michigan or northwestern is getting a W.

5 players in B10 play shooting under 30% on three-pointers on 3 or more attempts per game–3 of them are Illini–Epps, Hawkins and Shannon. They’re ripe for an early exit in any tourney play. FWIW, TWill is at 20.7%.

Bummer that injuries have forced Nebraska to play Hoiberg Jr for real minutes. They could be both fun and good
