Wasn’t there some rumor mid-season that Mayer had a major injury issue that was going to potentially cause him to miss the rest of the year, and then he played the next game with zero issues?

You know, I’ve drunk a lot of coffee in my day. There was a time I used to drink seven cups of coffee a day! I’ve never heard of caffeine overdose or, fer gosh sakes, caffeine poisoning. The kid IS an “interesting” character.

Yes. On the same day as Skyy Clark’s departure. Illinois 247 said broken foot + surgery for Mayer which would end his season. Then nothing happened

I know, but they lost nine in a row! But, yeah, I know, they certainly have a lot of talent. But they’re 4-14 in the B1G and are locked in 13th place! So hard to explain these things!
