I really do appreciate the officials more than I let on, but it always is an inexact science. They are human beings, after all. And because they are human, they sometimes miss a call or flat out get a call wrong. Sometimes they are abused for it, but the truth is they actually get most calls right. And then, too, there really wouldn’t be a game without 'em. And, yes, this really is the same silverblue who complains, probably too much, about the referees! It’s not an easy job, certainly not with as big and fast and athletic as these kids are. As I’ve said before, I couldn’t do it, so I’m glad there are guys who do.
