Nebraska vs. NC State is basically an AAU game. Really strong scheduling to match identical teams with this game, Rutgers-Clemson, Minnesota-Pitt, Northwestern-WF…
Big 10 looking to clinch before the evening slate. MSU and …Nebraska? Up by double digits midway through the second half of their games, Maryland also has a 7 point lead. MSU winning with defense as we thought would be possible, but I don’t understand how NC State is losing like this to nebraska.
Big Ten had much better matchups in this challenge (although the ACC might just be terrible).
Yeah I think the ACC is really bad this year
“That’s the kind of turnover that drives Tom Izzo crazy.” - Jay Bilas after every MSU turnover
Did Fred Hoiberg suddenly right the ship? Nebraska was looking like a hot mess just the other day, it seemed like.
Wow, I watched like a 10 minute YouTube video and the Cornhuskers blew their 13 point lead. And now I see Maryland blew their lead too. Fatts Russell is 2/10
3OT!! Cmon Nebraska
HUGE victory for all men’s 40 and older rec league players right there
Ted Valentine just called one of the most absurd fouls I can recall against Nebraska
Ted Valentine is officiating? I thought he retired?
Big Ten basically gave him the boot, but he officiates other leagues still.
Nebraska freshman player just pulled an absolutely veteran move, waiting until the exact moment NC State was shooting the free throw to sit down after fouling out while the students had been obsessively waiting for him to with the “right left right left” thing.
Looks like said foul shooter was Thomas Allen, a former Husker.
I can’t watch another OT. A whole crew of TV Teds, and the least clutch team in the history of college basketball, the 2021-22 Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Nebrasketball seems to be taking a page from their football brethren.
Cool story bro alert. I like biographical stuff and the older M hoopers may like this anecdote regarding Jaden Ivey; his grandfather, James Hunter, was a number 10 pick in the 1976 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions. Stuff like this makes me root more for young Ivey. I knew the stuff about his mom, but not his grandfather. Also didn’t know his dad played in the NFL and went to ND.
This is a good breakdown of how Purdue attacked the FSU defense for my fellow basketball nerds. Jordan Sperber is a good follow.
