Honestly that’s a pretty good team though. Taking away scholarships forces Izzo to play a normal rotation. It’s funnier when he subs guys literally every minute of the game and you end up with 14 guys playing 3 minutes apiece

I doubt he starts. He’ll be the foul sponge. Kohler as the true 5 and Hauser as the small ball stretch 5

Actually, I think it’s great that he’s coming back to college, even if it IS State. I can think of some guys on our team I’d like to see do the same thing!

Good, solid guards. Hauser and Hall are a couple really solid 4 men too. But there are no wings on that roster and no big men worth a salt unless the true freshman is a monster. ANd no depth. Poor roster balance as of right now. Guards and under sized 4 men (basically players with no NBA future) are the most common finds in the portal too. Wings and big men of any quality are harder to come by in the portal.

Honestly, Kofi’s leaving just opens the door wider for Hunter to come back and just DOMINATE the league. Great opportunity to with B1G POY, especially if we, somehow get Shannon and keep Caleb.

That’s basically this year’s Michigan State team, except minus 75% of their wing minutes in Max Christie and Gabe Brown and minus their entire center rotation. If he doesn’t add anyone that team should be really really mediocre.
He might still finish like 6th in the Big Ten and make the tournament cuz he’s Izzo and the rest of the conference will be horrible, and Hoggard/Walker/Akins is kinda good. But that team has a super low ceiling and a super low floor if Kohler isn’t ready, or if Malik Hall keeps being as inconsistent as he is
