Yes. Was complaining about it about as soon as it left his hand, literally. He felt emboldened because the possession before the refs fell for his head nod on a drive

Big game on Fox. Creighton may lose although they have ability to cut to one with under three minutes remaining in the second half. Think we want Seton Hall in this one at least based on Bracket Matrix
Michigan now locked into 8th right? Cannot pass MSU unless they lose and cannot fall to 9th.
Best result possible would be to win and then to stay on the Wiscy Iowa side of bracket. But frankly I’d be tempted to throw game if MsU lost today. (I know we won’t know the result of MSU game, as they start 3 hours after we do.)

We are the 7 seed with a win tomorrow and one of a Rutgers loss or a MSU loss. Anything else is the 8 seed
Williams shouldn’t have been on the floor. You sub in a better shooter after the second free throw. Plus, you have your best FT shooter inbounding the ball. Painter should donate back part of his salary.

Does 7 get Illinois (terrible matchup) or Purdue (better)? Seems super unlikely: hard to believe PSU or UMD will beat MSU/Rut. Both on the road, right?

The matter-of-factness of the writing style was just a fantastic choice there. I didn’t fact check it, but I assumed that it is indeed, an institution of higher learning with those academic credits to its name…
We’ve gotten a lot of good results today especially for teams in first four out and next four out. The opportunity is there to separate tomorrow. Just have to figure out a way to beat the Buckeyes. All the motivation should be there the guys just need to try to be loose but not with the ball.

Assuming Wisconsin beats Nebraska. Illinois is the 2 seed if they beat Iowa. Otherwise Purdue is. I think if Wisconsin loses to Nebraska and Illinois beats Iowa, then Wisconsin is the 2

This isn’t a serious comment is it? Throw a 50% chance to lock yourself into the tournament for a, what, 20% better chance of winning the second round BTT game? That would be…inadvisable.

Don’t normally like criticizing coaches… well, except Izzo😉 and I have great respect for Painter, BUT I agree. I watched that unfold and couldn’t believe it! WHY
is Sasha taking it out and WHY is Trevion anywhere near the ball there?
Now, having said that, I’m sure Trevion was supposed to catch the ball cleanly and get it immediately right back to Sasha. But why was he on the floor? Rebounding a miss on the free throw? Don’t know.
Honestly, yeah, I think it’s tempting. We are basically trash. We ain’t getting out of the first weekend. A run to B10 championship game is wide open (I just don’t believe in Wisconsin or Iowa and you’ll never convince me). I think I would value that championship game over a 2nd round game against Kentucky. (However, it is academic. We play first. So go win, boys!)
