Can’t move feet, can’t defend. I recall how incredibly quick Mike Smith’s feet were last year. Must have had a killer cone drill time.
When MSU can’t get out in transition they really aren’t all that good. Too bad we are incapable of preventing it
Also note that Wisconsin is playing drop coverage.
Wisconsin has been playing drop coverage for as long as I can remember.
I will say, MSU hit open threes against us and while there have been fewer against WI they haven’t gone in.
Gabe Brown goes down a lot like he’s shot but is always ok
We don’t have room to talk with DeVantae Jones on our team
Only two players with 3+ points for MSU.
And so did Michigan for 2 years
And to be fair, a lot of this year too. Wisconsin has been playing drop coverage against PNRs probably since before I started this site though.
“Now, Burger Boy doesn’t need to order a flight here. Plenty of time to just have one shot at a time.”
Not sure I agree that Johnson is the only one that matters. Stewart (58% of minutes) and Bates (36%) both play, and Bates of course is the jewel of the freshman class although he is very stinky so far.
IU has a stew of replacement level wings though.
For Stewart, on-court, I totally agree. I just wonder about the recruiting impact if Bates flames out. Even if negligible
I mean, getting suspended for a game isn’t going to impact recruiting or Bates’ long-term future.
Oh it’s just one game? I got the impression their status with the program was in some jeopardy. Never mind.
In his last 4 games, not counting us, Christie is average 4.5 ppg. That’s likely not a coincidence.
Sparty down 8 w/90 seconds to go.
