Archie vs the NCAA tournament
Rutgers vs aesthetically pleasing basketball
Penn State and Nebraska vs actually getting shots on the final possession of a game
That PSU final possession last night legit made me angry.
I donât want Illinois to lose just because I hate them, I also want them to lose because all the âWill Illinois claim the Big 10 tournament title now too?!â tweets will be fantastic.
Hunterâs moving screens (pod shout out!) would be an example of how cutting them up into video and working with the forum poster whoâs a referee is good content. Ball screens are happening constantly around the court on-ball and off-ball. What is happening on Hunterâs that is getting him out of sorts and in foul trouble? What are others doing different? How much of it is on him versus the ball handler making his move too early?
floor slap on Illinoisâs first defensive possession
Tons of Illinois fans, if they make it to Sunday probably will be 8000 of them there
hey Rutgers, the game started
Ayo, still terrifying
Oh that is a terrrrrrrible charge call.
Thatâs one of the worst Iâve ever seen.
Basic layup motion, no push off, Miller moving - thatâs AWFUL.
Nice flop by Adam Miller.
I donât think even Miller expected to get the call. That was a brutal call.
Cockburnâs FT shooting is going to end up killing Illinois in the tournament.
That sideline reporter flubbing his way through a Batman analogy was hilarious.
Maybe. Theyâre definitely getting to the Final 4. They look very good and seem to have been playing with a different energy since the Michigan game.
I hate to be rude but Jacob Young is just awful
I donât know. Nebraska and Indiana took them to OT. Sparty beat them and OSU really should have. At their best theyâre really good (as we saw) but they donât bring their best that often.
Kofi canât get to the league fast enough
Totally fair point. Iâm not sure many teams will know how to defend Kofi and Ayo without Big Ten officiating (the MSU strategy).
worth noting that your average #1 seed in the tourney is less than 50/50 to make the Final Four. The overall #1 each year is generally in the 40-50% range of making it per KenPom log5 estimates.
Illinois is playing some high high level basketball recently
