If Eli hadn’t gotten injured we’d have beat these bozos and this loss would have them sweating selection sunday out… :sigh:
Izzo hasn’t played Gabe Brown all half for like no reason and he seemed to be a big part of their better lineups.
Bardo with healthy respect for this offensive powerhouse MSU team
I meant MARYLAND needs to stop fouling! State can’t score so don’t put them on the line, and don’t foul your guys out!
Gotcha. My bad.
I know they have the three big wins, but still, is 9-12 in the Big Ten really good enough? Especially when they were blown out over and over?
I was just going to ask, is State still in the tournament after this? Probably, but wow!
No bad losses is a big deal. Even blowouts don’t hurt you that much if they are at least Q2. Plus 3 QI-A and 2 other Q1s is nice.
They are definitely in. It would have been very tense if we had swept them and then they had this performance, but alas, they will get an 11 seed.
Henry has been so passive.
The bubble is awful this year. Nobody in the Mountain West or whatever can sniff their wins.
here is the Kithier playing time! No way is he gonna transfer!
Would you rather play a one-legged Eli or Zeb tomorrow?
Forget about health implications, pretend he can’t make anything worse. Just the product on the court.
Hall is all the Spartans have this half.
I think Tom is throwing in the towel now. He also has shown NO energy this half. I mean, seriously, he just looks depressed!
I suspect that Dylan has gone to work on his UM-MD preview.
It’s just funny that the media narrative about MSU will somehow be that they are a “hot” team for the three wins, ignoring that they’ve looked like absolute dog dropping whenever they’ve played away from home.
Zeb probably. I don’t know if I like a one-legged Eli defending Maryland’s guards.
Exhausted himself in the first 8 minutes screaming at the refs with no payoff. Since his team never climbed back in it, the dwarf returns to his seat slowly, resigned to the fact that the world is against him.
If you assume a world where Eli can’t get hurt worse, I’d play Eli, not so much to try and win, just to try and get back into the flow. Treat all of the BTT as scrimmage prep for the NCAAT, basically. I’d rather see them get some rhythm back vs go with Zeb.
I would sure love to see Zeb suddenly figure it out and give a Curbelo like performance tomorrow, ‘cause I don’t think Eli is playin’, sorry to say.
Henry, Langford and Watts a combined 5 for 23. I note this not to suggest bad luck on our part Sunday, but to give respects to Maryland’s D today.
